Recently the Marist Sisters invited the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland (NBSCCCI) to conduct a review of its safeguarding practices.

The Marist Sisters recognise the dignity and rights of all children and vulnerable adults and are committed to ensuring their protection from abuse. We apologise sincerely to any person who may have been harmed by a member of our Congregation.

We will do all in our power to create a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults. We would like to give assurance that we will abide by the law of the land as well as by the Standards and Guidelines of the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland.

If you have any safeguarding concerns please contact the Designated Liaison person - Sr. Brigid Mary McGuinness 01-2863396 or the National Office for Safeguarding Children 01 5053124

Sr. Vera Magee
